They say the proof is in the pudding. I weighed 300 lbs at my highest prior to surgery and today October 25th ten months later I am at my ideal weight of 185 lbs and feeling awesome. Dr. Almanza and staff were tremendous and while I had some reservations about the surgery center going in, they were quickly gone once I saw how professional and clean it was. The Hotel Ticuan was first class and I've had zero issues that needed follow-up. So much so, that I recommended a friend who has since had the same surgery with Dr. Almanza and has already lost 45 lbs in two months. What is most amazing about the entire process for me is that I now eat to live and not live to eat. I don't crave the foods I once did. Of course I get plenty of exercise and discovered the athlete that was once inside me again...albeit older athlete :) Thank God I made the decision!
